Protected marine areas
THE PROTECTED MARINE AREAS OF SARDINIA
In a marine protected area no person shall:
- disturb, damage, destroy or remove from the
area any living marine organism, any part of its
habitat or any part of the seabed, including the
subsoil;
- carry out any activity – including depositing,
discharging or dumping any substance, or causing
any substance to be deposited, discharged or
dumped – that is likely to result in the disturbance,
damage, destruction or removal of the biochemical
characteristic of the water and of any living marine
organism or any part of its habitat;
- carry out any activity that is likely to result in the
disturbance of scientific researches, public safety
and security.
